Full Tour Description
Duration: 1 hour + 30 mins training
The tour starts with a 20-30 minute orientation session (not included in quoted tour time). Your guide will be on hand to help you get to grips with the Segway and to make sure you feel comfortable and ready to go out and conquer Buda Castle.
Enjoy a historical overview of the Buda Castle district, while riding a Segway through the cobblestone streets and squares that make up the entire castle area. Along the way, you’ll see grand palaces and buildings and get a real feel for the area’s development from its Medieval roots through to the present day.
As you go, your guide will tell you about the Castle area, its history of occupations and the other roles it played throughout the Hungarian history – all while you enjoy the freedom to effortlessly glide the streets on a Segway.
During this tour, you will see major sights, such as the Royal Palace, Presidential Palace, Disz Square, Holy Trinity Square, Hess András Square, Matthias Church of our lady and the Fisherman’s Bastion, Arpad Toth Promenade and the Mary Megdolana Tower and Church.
Our Segway tours run with small groups and generally do not have more than 10 participants. This makes them interactive and personal and gives you plenty of chances to ask questions and get to know your guide. You can also hit them up for local tips on where to go and what else to do.
We reserve the right to alter and change the tour program without prior notice due to construction, city closures for events, festivals and so on throughout the year.

Entry fees to sights and museums, food and beverages except where noted, transport to the meeting point or from the conclusion point, gratuity/tip.
